HEADLEY, Donald Vernon, 78, resident of Billingsley, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Prattville Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tom Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at Prattville Memorial from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Mr. Headley was a town councilman in Billingsley and an active deacon at First Baptist Church Posey Crossroads. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.B. "Cooter" Headley and Lillian Headley; brother, Thomas C. Jackson; and sister, Jean Brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Linda Headley; two daughters, Paula Headley Adams (Mickey) and Sue Headley Iser (Carl); sister, Frances Hamm; brother, Billy Headley (Linda); three grandchildren, Krystle Adams Hester (AJ), J.R. Iser (Emma), Amanda Iser Flournoy (John); seven great-grandchildren, McKinley Hester, Selena Hester, Ethan Thomas Iser, Raygen Langley, Sarah Langley, Avery Flournoy, Addie Flournoy; and numerous extended family members and friends.
