Our Daddy, Lewis A Ingram of Deatsville was met at the pearly gates of heaven by our Lord and Savior and his special guardian Angel, Martha Ann Ingram (wife of 31 years). His parents Mark Audrey and Vera Watson Ingram, and siblings Jeff Ingram, Ann McDonald Cooper and Ronald Ingram, and special buddies Dorman, Ed, Bud and Cowboy were also there to greet him, the first day of this New year, 2014, he celebrated life on this earth for 75 years in Elmore and Autuaga County since his birth on January 20, 1938. We are still here Daddy so you can watch over us, Punkin (Bo) Evans and Carol Ann Armstrong (Charlie Hill). Susan Bice Hallman, Laura Thrasher Little and Mark and Michelle Ingram were just like your children too. We all hold you dear to our hearts and will treasure the memories. Your grandchildren; Bryant Evans, Maegan Armstrong, Drew (Destiny) Armstrong, BB (Magan Burton) Armstrong were so special to you, and great grandchildren; 4wk old Clay Armstrong, Anna, Andy and Aubree Armstrong, were the light of your life. You were a special brother to nine brother ; UE (Lisa), Little Audrey “Fett”, David (Janice), Joe (Ann), James (Nell), Earl (Brenda), and Larry Wayne (Elizabeth) Ingram and one sister. And ” Uncle Lewis” to more than just nieces and nephews, but many special friends and relatives. Daddy worked hard all his life to provide for his family as owner of Ingram’s Sand & Gravel. He always taught us to enjoy life and share our kindness with others. He would share with anyone that needed anything and instilled those values in us. Our memories are over whelming and we have been reminiscing the past few days and enjoying all our memories with you, our lake memories and gravel pit are the favorite but we also had so many people stay at our house over the years and always had fun parties. You and Mama will live in our hearts forever! We request that family and friends join us Saturday, January 4th at Mt Hebron West Baptist Church (our childhood church) in Elmore to celebrate your passing. Pallbearers will be Bryant Evans, Drew and BB Armstrong, Will Parker Little, Chris and Josh Ingram, and honorary pallbearers Mark Ingram and Craig Armstrong. Family visitation will be at 12:30, friends at 1:00 and the service at 2:00. Burial will follow at Mt Hebron cemetery, right beside the church.
