STRENGTH
STRENGTH,
William Lacy, 92, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama died on
Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Funeral services will be held on
Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of
Prattville Memorial with Reverend James Bozeman and Reverend
Michael Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville
Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr.
Strength was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Addie
Strength; one brother, Marion Strength. He is survived by his
loving wife of 66 years, Eloise Strength; three sons, Kenneth
(Sharon) Strength, Harry (Leslie) Strength, William Lacy Jr.
(Brenda) Strength; two daughters, Sue (Houston) Gibbons, Princene
Dean; six grandchildren, Don, Kenny, Kim, Joe, Shannon, and
Suzanne; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Luna Baker of
Augusta, GA, Lora Cunningham Addy, Lillie (Kelley) Smith of
Birmingham, AL, Alice Ward; three brothers, Freddie Strength of
Wetumpka, AL, Al O'Neil Strength of Livermore, CA, Phillip (Betty)
Strength; numerous extended family members and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Don Higgins, Kenny Strength, Joe
Strength, Gage Strength, Taylor Lawhorn, Henry Ward. Honorary
pallbearers will be Greg Ward, Freddie Strength, Terry Smith. The
family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Friday
evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. until 3:00
p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012.
