Ruby Elizabeth Persons Tatum, 86, a resident of Montgomery, AL.
went to be with her Lord Saturday, November 19, 2011. Ruby
was born March 8, 1925 in Selma, AL to the late Benton and Dora
Persons. Ruby will always be remembered by her family and friends
as an unselfish and dependable servant of the Lord. Her life was
defined by her willingness to provide for and serve others. Her
departure has truly left a void that cannot be filled. We love you
and miss you Mom, Grandma, Grandma Ruby, Bebe, and Ruby Duby.
Ruby is survived by her three sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert
and Mary Mock, Salt Lake City, UT, James and Corliss Mock, Colorado
Springs, CO, and Thomas and Karen Mock, Deatsville, AL; 11
grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren;
two sisters Ada Crumpton and Carrie Boland, Montgomery, AL; and
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 'B'Tom Tatum,
sister, Sandra Holland, granddaughter Sarah Mock, and grandson
Bobby Mock.
The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Gardens
on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. followed
by a graveside service.
