RONALD DENNYHOUSTON

 

HOUSTON, Ronald Denny, 61, a resident ofMontgomery,Alabama, died peacefully on October, 25, 2011, with his family by his side. Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 27, 2011 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend Joel Wasson officiating.   Burial will follow inPineLevelUnitedMethodistChurchCemeterywith Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Houston was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Joyce Houston; and father,JeffersonDenny "J.D."Houston. He is survived by his mother, Sarah Frances Houston; three daughters, Pam (Gary) Cox, Rhonda Houston, and Ramona Baggett; one son, John Holt; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Valda Kay (Mitch) Singleton; and numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

    Finished high school with Ronald.Like most of us have we lost contact with each other.I learned of his death today from Ron Holland's wife.I hadn't seen Ronald in many years and didn't know he was sick.To the family,I'm sorry for your loss and I know you will miss him.I will keep you in my prayers and always remember Ronald's laugh from high school.I remember he loved to draw and if I still have it I will look for the one he gave me from high school.I had a good laugh then and will try to find it for ole times sake.God bless the family and I'm sorry for your loss.Aaron Adams Marbury,Al Class of 1968

In High School, he was such a sweet, endearing person, quiet most of the time, but I knew I could always count on him for his support. He sat across from me at the table at our first class reunion; he will truly be missed.
