RALPH JACKSON LEE

 

Lee, Ralph Jackson, 89, a resident of Prattville, Alabama died Monday, November 21, 2011 at his residence with his loving and devoted wife and family at his side.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2:00 pm from Prattville Memorial Chapel with Reverend Dave Burns officiating.  Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel Directing.  Mr. Lee was preceded in death by one son, Russell; three granddaughters, Cassie, Vicki and Rhonda.  He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Virginia Foshee Lee; one daughter, Joyce Campbell; one son, Donald Lee; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.  For thirty seven years Ralph worked with Alabama Power Company.  He also served his community through the Homebound Ministry of First Baptist Church for over twenty years.  He also served as a deacon of First Baptist Church.  Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Homebound Ministry of First Baptist Church of Prattville.  Nephews will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be the Jimmy Sanford Sunday School Class.  The family will receive friends at the Prattville Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm.

    I am so very sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. I know he was welcomed with rejoicing in heaven. He was such a kind, caring man and I know how much my Uncle Howard Cox thought of him and respected him as did so many others. God Bless and comfort all of you. Betty Norris
