OLLIE EUGENE "GENE" WILSON
Wilson, Ollie Eugene "Gene", 89, a
resident of Prattville, Alabama died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at
his home. Funeral services will be held on
Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm from Prattville Memorial
Chapel with Reverend Steve Smith and Reverend Wayne Rouse
officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville
Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel
Directing. Gene was the founder and owner of
Wilson Flooring until 1989 when he retired. He
served his church, Hunting Ridge Church of God, for many years as a
member of the Pastors Council. He was preceded
in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Wilson; one son, Ricky
Wilson, and one sister, Myrtle Day. He is
survived by his wife, Juanita Wilson; three sons, Gerald Wilson,
Tommy Wilson, Donald Wilson; eleven grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren and
great-grandchildren who knew him as granddaddy.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at
Prattville Memorial Chapel from 1:30 until 3:00
pm. In lieu of flowers the family request
memorials be made to Alacare
Hospice.
