MARY WARREN FLOWERS

 

Flowers, Mary Warren, 76, a resident of Prattville, Alabama died Wednesday, January 25, 2012.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from Prattville Memorial Chapel with Reverend Earl Wise, Reverend Gary Burton and Reverend Larry Layne officiating.  Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.  Mrs. Flowers was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Mamie Warren; one brother, Joe Warren; a sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Junior Williams; two brothers-in-law, John Jones and Sam Phipps.  She is survived by her husband of 49 years, William A. Flowers; two daughters, Angie Flowers, Nelda Sorrells (Kenny); two sons, Bill Flowers (Renee), Joe Flowers (Deede); two sisters, Martha Jones, Margaret Phipps; one brother, Charles Warren (Sandra); seven grandchildren, Martin Jackson (Jamie), Matthew Sorrells, Tori, Nikki, Audrey, Madison, Cameron Flowers; three great-grandchildren, Dorsett, Sumner Jackson and Seth Flowers.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, extended family and friends.  Mrs. Flowers served many years as Church Secretary at Crestview Baptist Church in Prattville.  The family will receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Prattville Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Hospice at 301 Interstate Park,Montgomery,AL36109.
