SMITH, Laura Frances, 85, a resident of
Prattville, Alabama passed away peacefully on Tuesday,
October 18, 2011. Funeral Services will be held on Friday,
October 21, 2011, at 12:00 p.m.
from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial with Reverend
Stan Holt officiating. Burial will
follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville
Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Smith was a
devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who
was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Carl
Smith; and one daughter, Carole Ford. She is
survived by three sons, James Till, Freddie
Till, and Billy Till; five daughters, Rose Kyliavas, Barbara
Atwell, Millie Ballard, Bonnie Smith, and Laura Ann Till;
21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren;
two great, great-grandchildren; and numerous
other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Ford, John Schofield, Eddie Brazeale,
Gene Pugh, Bruce Johnson, and Tiv Johnson.
The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial
on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until
12:00 p.m. Flowers are accepted, or memorial donations may be sent
to Trinity Memorial Baptist, 2700 Old Selma Highway, Montgomery, AL
36108.
