Send Condolence

June Pope Robinson passed away suddenly November 24, 2011.   She was born October 21, 1939, to parents Dollihite and Crawford Pope.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Peytie Bennett; her sister, Vi Smith; her sister, Brenda McVay; her father, Crawford Pope; and her mother, Dollihite Pope.  She was a long time employee of Quincy's restaurant.  June was a member of Frazier Memorial United Methodist Church.  June was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She will be remembered for her hospitality, her southern cooking and her love for her grandchildren.  June is survived by her husband, Tim Robinson ;her daughter, Ashley  (Rob) Presley, her sons, Ty, and Van (Rachael) Heartsill;  one sister,  Nancy Epton; one brother,  Jim (Debra) Pope; her mother and father - law Don and Donna Robinson.  She was very proud of her nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be at Prattville Memorial Chapel, November 27, 2011. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:30am, with the funeral services at 2:30. Burial will be in Prattville Memory Gardens.  Reverend John Schmidt and Reverend Patrick Quinn, officiating.  The family would like to express their thanks to her physicians Keith Thompson, Michael Ingram, and Jeffery Mathis for their wonderful care.  She will be missed for her sweet hospitality, great southern cooking, and her love for her family.
