I had the honor of knowing MSG Wood while as a cadet at MMI. He went out of his way in order to for me to attend one more year. My parents only spoke Spanish and he made sure they knew what was going on at MMI. After graduation he called me while I attended Tennessee and checked up on me. A true soldier and man! I will never forget him and what he did for me and others.

Kelly, Joe and you left a lasting impression on me when I met you for the first time in 2010. Jerry of course knew Joe while in Vietman. They had a good time reminiscing those times together. Prayers go out to you and family and repose of his soul.

I just want to say thank you to all those who have kept us in your thoughts and prayers. There is no doubt that he was a great man. I am his baby sister, and he was my hero. He had to endure so much over his life time but could still smile. That should teach us all so much. Again thank you, and I love you Ricky.
