JAMES "JIM" WILLIAM McKINLEY NEWCOMB

Newcomb, James "Jim" William McKinley, 81, a resident of Montgomery, Thursday, December 22, 2011 at his home. Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 9:30 in Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo with Reverend Tony Antonelli officiating and Prattville Memorial Chapel Directing. Mr. Newcomb served his country faithfully during the Korean Conflict when called upon by his nation. He is survived by his children, Melissa (Scott) Bailey, Warren Newcomb, Craig (Diane) Newcomb, William (Alysia)Taunton; one sister, Patsy Anderson; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

I was so sad to hear about Jim passing away. We really enjoyed living by him for a few years in the trailer park and going to Faith Memorial Church with him. Meg was also sad to hear of his death. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Condolences go out to the family.
