JACK GARNER

 

GARNER, Jack, 59, a resident of Prattville, AL, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012, with his family by his side. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Garner was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed. Jack will be remembered for his love for nature and fishing. Mr. Garner was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Marie Garner; and two nephews, Michael LeFrere and Zachary Garner. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sheila Garner; two daughters, Cindy (Brian) Dennis, Susan (Jeremy) Thompson; two grandchildren, Connor and David Thompson; four sisters, Betty (Buddy) Causey, Yvonne (Hillary) LeFrere, Elaine Garner, and Debbie Garner; six brothers, John (Carol) Garner, Roy Garner, Patrick (Noni) Garner, Franklin Garner, Charles Bally, and Paul (Katie) Garner; his mother-in-law, Jean Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cindy (Pete) Epperson, Butch (Wanda) Strahan, and Buster (Wendy) Smith;  numerous extended family members and many friends. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
