SMITH, Horace, 92, a current resident of Defuniak Springs,FL, formerly of Prattville, AL, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Smith proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by wife, Tina Smith. He is survived by one son, Johnny Smith; one daughter, Doris (Jim) McLeod; two grandchildren, Bart and Chad Smith; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Tyler Smith; one brother, Harvey (Vivian) Smith; two special friends, Helen and Presley Pickens; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
