Florence Hurst
HURST, Florence, 103, a resident of Prattville, Alabama went to
be with the Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Graveside
services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. at
Prattville Memory Gardens with Reverend J.B. Burt officiating, and
Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Hurst was preceded
in death by her husband, Byron Hurst; one daughter, Louise H.
Owens; and one son, Thomas W. Hurst. She is survived by her one
daughter, Margaret H. Vandervort; one son, Benjamin A. (Alma)
Hurst; five grandchildren, Dana (Richard) Camp, Tom Owens, Bruce
(Vickie) Hurst, Daniel Vandervort, and Debra (John) Dorough; one
daughter-in-law, Marie Hurst; five great-grandchildren, Daniel
Camp, Emily Camp, Sarah Camp, Wade (Megan) Hurst, and Stephanie
Hurst; seven step-great-grandchildren; and numerous great,
great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends. The
family would like to extend a special thanks to her doctor Dr. Joe
Howell and Baptist Hospice for their care and compassion especially
Bea Burch. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to
