DAVID THOMAS WALTERS

Walters, David Thomas, 73, a resident of Prattville, Alabama died on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Greater Vision Baptist Church with Reverend Stanley Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was the manager of the commissary at Maxwell Air Force Base. Mr. Walters was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley Walters; three daughters, Cindy (Johnny) Huett, Teresa Exum, and Michelle (Daniel) White; nine grandchildren, Randall Cornelius, Ryan Cornelius, Heather Boice, Dustin Exum, Tiffany Paige Carrera, Richard Robinson, Keith Glenn, Lindsey Arriaza, and Garrett White; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Jean (George) Bevins, and Connie Walters; one brother, Steve (Marsha) Walters; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and many friends. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Greater Vision Ministries,1187 Upper Kingston Rd.,Prattville,AL,36067.
