BARNIE EUGENE GILLILAND
GILLILAND, Barnie Eugene, 74, a resident of Prattville, Alabama,
died peacefully on November, 3, 2011, with his family by his side.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at
11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend
Tony Hughes officiating. Burial will follow with full military
honors in PrattvilleMemoryGardenswith Prattville Memorial Chapel
directing. Mr. Gilliland was preceded in death by his wife, Mable
C. Gilliland; and one sister, Pamela Diane Bush. He is survived by
one son, Anthony (Jenny) Gilliland; four grandchildren, Brittany
(Jarred) Pike, Brianne Gilliland, Anthony Gilliland Jr., and
Chelsea Gilliland; four sisters, Marilyn Popwell, Carolyn (Early)
Popwell, Virginia Rose (Roger) Littlefield, and Ann (Buddy)
Sharpless; two brothers, Don Gilliland and Jerry (Mary Joyce)
Gilliland; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Gilliland Jr., Jarred Pike, Ken Coker,
Mark Nelson, Charles Vawter, and Tom Nuffer. The family will
receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Friday, November 4, 2011
from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be
made to Amedisys Hospice, 8160 Decker Lane, Montgomery, AL, 36117.
