CHAVERS, Mr. Arthur Lee "LeRoy", age 73, a resident of
Prattville, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012. Funeral
Services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012, 2 p.m. at
Prattville Memorial Chapel with Song & Devotional Leader, of
Prattville Health & Rehab,Will Accardo officiating. Interment
to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Prattville, AL. He served time in
the Army but made his career in and retired after 30 years of
working Construction. He loved the outdoors and was an avid
fisherman with lots of storys to tell. He was preceded in death by
parents, George Arthur Chavers & Lillie Mae Favors-Cook of
Prattville, AL, Step-father, David Cook of Prattville,AL and
brothers, Buck Cook, D.D. Cook, Charles Cook & Donnie Wayne
Cook. Survivors include daughters, Leslie "Prissy" Chavers (John
Godwin) of Prattville, AL; Stacy Chavers Harris (Michael) of
Elmore, AL; Sons, Randall Lee Chavers (Donna) of Chester Gap, VA;
Donald Lee Chavers of Prattville, AL; Grandchildren, Marcus Roy
(Brooke) of Prattville, AL; Blake Harris of Elmore, AL; Brandon
Harris of Elmore, AL; Kalyn Roy of Prattville, AL; Ryan Harris of
Elmore, AL; Sterling Chavers of Chester Gap, VA; Morgan Harris of
Elmore, AL; Sister, Linda Cook Lemley (Otis) of Millbrook, AL.
Numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Pallbearers will be the
grandchildren. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home
one hour prior to the funeral service. The family would like to say
a special thank you to everyone at Prattville Health & Rehab
for making him feel so loved and cared for, as well as all the
Nurses and Doctor's at Prattvile Baptist Hospital. "A Memory Safely
Tucked Away Brings Back Happy Yesterday".
