I have known Mr. Hamm for many years and have considered him as a friend. He and Jerry were two of my favorite customers when I was with the old Lowe's store several years ago. More important than him being a friend I know he had placed his faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, so he is my brother in Christ, and throughout eternity. Mr. Hamm has preached his own funeral. The life I saw through him was one that eximplified the life of a Child of the Lord. As Christians we have not lost him for we know where he is. Family be comforted in Paul's words, "To be abscent from the body is to be present with the Lord." I know he will be missed by you, but praise be to our Lord the separation is only temporary. Know that I am praying for you to get through the funeral and the days to come. I also pray for God's Spirit to give you the comfort that you need.

I am so sorry to have read of your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. Something that I have personally found to be of great comfort is what the Bible says at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4. In these verses we see that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones and that he is going to do away with all causes we have for suffering including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my sincere hope that these thoughts comfort your family as well.

God bless a fine man and his family. We'll always remember his laughter and good nature, especially at holiday meals. He loved his family, and they dearly loved him. Thanks to him and Ms. Fran for their military service to our country. We'll miss Gan.

I don't believe there was a stronger love than the one Gan had for his grandkids. Although Brian and Alex didn't get to see their Gan very often, they both have stories of him that they will forever hold in their hearts. Look down and keep our boys safe for us Gan! We are going to miss you very much.
